Requirements for Work Permit Only

Persons requiring Work Permits must submit the following along with a completed Work Permit application form to the Office of the Prime Minister:

  • 1. Letter from Employer.
  • 2. Certified copy of passport (information page/s).
  • 3. Proof that the position applied for has been advertised.
  • 4. Police Record.
  • 5. Pay application fee of $150.00 (non-refundable).

Please Note (NB): A Work permit only is issued on a one-time basis for not more than six (6) months. Applicants requesting more than six (6) months for a work permit are required to submit an application for a residence permit also.

Requirements for Citizenship

Persons wishing to acquire Citizenship of St. Vincent & the Grenadines are required to complete the Citizenship Application Form (including Reference Page) and submit it to the Office of the Prime Minister.

Required Documents:

  • i. A certified passport-size photo of both applicant and spouse.
  • ii. Birth Certificate of both applicant and spouse and copy of passport bio-data page for both applicant and spouse.
  • iii. Marriage Certificate.
  • iv. Medical Certificate (of applicant).
  • v. Police Certificate (of applicant).

Applicable Fees

Application Fee $150.00 (non-refundable)
Registration Fee $1,500.00 / $2,200.00

*Registration fee is payable on approval of the application.

Important Document Notice: ALL DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED MUST BE ORIGINAL AND WOULD BE RETURNED TO THE APPLICANT ON COMPLETION OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS.

Requirements for Renunciation of Citizenship

Persons wishing to renounce Citizenship of St. Vincent & the Grenadines are required to complete the Renunciation for Citizenship Application Form and submit it to the Office of the Prime Minister.

Required Documents:

  • 1. Current Passport.
  • 2. Copy of Birth Certificate.
Application Fee $150.00 (non-refundable)
Renunciation Fee $1,800.00

Aliens Land-Holding Licence

An application for an Alien’s Land-Holding Licence has to be prepared and submitted through a local lawyer, who will forward the application to the Office of the Prime Minister for processing.

Fees & Duties

Application Fee $2,500.00
Licence Fee & Stamp Duty Determined by market value

*The Licence Fee and Stamp duty are determined based on the market value of the land/property.
